MSAR Pantry Program
On March 18th, 2020, Mending Spirits Animal Rescue chose to utilize our extra donated supplies to help local families who might be facing uncertainty during this time where financial security, stability, and physical and mental health became the nation's biggest concern.
In the first two weeks, 20 families reached out for support for their pets. Donations that met the needs of the pets, were delivered to their doorsteps for contactless delivery. From there, the MSAR Pantry Program bloomed into a beautiful, ongoing movement to help support our community to keep pets in their loving homes.
In 2020, MSAR gave families rapid and immediate food support for over 100 families with pets in need. We are proud and honored by the support we have received to provide this service to the community. We will continue to be a source of supplies, hope, and love for everyone in our community for years to come.
